New Member Mapping Requirements
Each member is required to submit a map which outlines the general location of their facilities. The map would show a polygon or box/buffer around the general area of the underground facilities to be protected. You can choose to fully enclose your entire distribution area or designate specific locations. This is how we will notify you of any excavation occurring around the area of your underground facilities.
There are three different ways to submit your mapping database:
- IMAP – online mapping application
- Electronically – submit digital shape files
- Paper maps – hand draw your coverage area
